How a home yoga practice works here

1

Tell us where you are

Your experience, how much time you usually have, and anything a teacher should know. Two minutes, changeable any time.

2

Practise a class that fits you

Each day the studio suggests one existing class with the reason, from beginner foundations to power flows. Every posture is named and cued in words, with easier options where the teacher offers them.

3

Keep going, at your pace

Book a time, add it to your calendar, and see your weeks build. Rest days are part of the plan; nothing nags you.

Classes for every kind of day

Thirty to ninety minutes, beginner to advanced, chosen by style, focus and the time you have.

Easy pose: sitting cross-legged with a tall spine and hands resting on the knees

Beginner foundations

The first postures, slowly: how to stand, fold, kneel and rest, with every modification shown.

Warrior II: a wide stance, front knee bent, arms stretched out to both sides

Power yoga

Strong, continuous flows that build heat and strength, taught with precise alignment cues.

Chair pose: standing with knees bent as if sitting, arms raised

Weight loss

Sweatier, steady practices that build strength and a routine you keep. Yoga supports an active life; lasting change comes from the whole of it.

Child's pose: kneeling and folded forward with the arms resting

Back care and mobility

Gentle, specific work for stiff backs, hips and shoulders, seated and supine.

Bridge pose: lying on the back with the hips lifted

Gentle and steady

Moderate, repeatable practice that fits a daily routine, for anyone who wants to move without strain.

Legs up the wall: lying on the back with the legs resting up a wall

Breath and sleep

Short evening practices and breathing exercises to settle the body before rest.

Questions people ask

What is Shvasa?

Shvasa is a virtual yoga studio. You practise at home with guided online yoga classes taught by real teachers, and the studio keeps a record of your practice so it can suggest what to do next.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes. Every class states its level and what you need. Beginner classes move slowly, name each posture and show easier options where the teacher offers them. Programs such as Yoga foundations build from the first posture up.

What do I need at home?

Room to stretch your arms wide, a mat or a towel, and a phone, tablet, laptop or TV. Props are optional and each class says if one helps.

How does the free trial work?

Each plan states its trial on this page. During the trial you have the full studio. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing; stay and the plan renews at the price shown.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time from your profile. Your membership runs to the end of the period you paid for and then stops. No calls, no forms.

Is yoga safe for me?

Yoga is physical activity. If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or managing a condition such as diabetes or high blood pressure, check with your clinician first. Every class can be stopped at any moment, and Shvasa never gives medical advice.

Who teaches the classes?

Teachers with a public profile: their training, what they teach and how. Profiles are published as their classes are approved. You can follow one teacher or move between them.
